Science of Reading
This course focuses on developing a deep understanding of the cognitive processes involved in reading and applying explicit, systematic strategies to support early readers. Participants will learn to enhance phonological awareness, integrate phonics instruction, and use assessment data to tailor strategies for diverse learners, including those with dyslexia. By the end of the course, educators will be equipped to create effective reading instruction that supports continuous progress for all students.
Please note: This course is NOT approved for PD hours towards the Arizona K-5 Literacy Endorsement.
