A Practitioner’s Approach to Learner-centered Education
This course is designed to spark bold ideas and action toward a future where every young person can thrive. Guided by Education Reimagined’s national learner-centered framework and offered in partnership with Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation, this course equips educators and administrators with frameworks, practices, and examples from learner-centered sites and ecosystems across the country.
This course is grounded in the learner-centered approach—where young people are holistically supported to take initiative, build strong relationships, engage in interest-aligned experiences, connect learning to life beyond school, and develop life and academic skills. Participants will engage with this approach and its core elements to deepen their understanding and explore its application in their own practice and community.
