Designing and Implementing Meaningful Learning Experiences in Early Intervention

Overview

This course focuses on analyzing and interpreting assessment data collaboratively with families and professionals. Learners will demonstrate proficiency using a strengths-based approach to inform eligibility determination, goal setting, intervention planning and progress monitoring. Learners will articulate the purposes of both formal and informal assessments, including ethical and legal considerations and discuss how to select and utilize developmentally, culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools and methods.

This course is fully self-paced, allowing you to begin at any time and move through the content on a schedule that fits your professional commitments. To ensure meaningful application, participants submit key implementation artifacts for personalized facilitator feedback. During twice-monthly review windows, expert facilitators, seasoned practitioners, and leaders in early intervention and ECSE provide detailed, practice-based feedback. Their real-world experience ensures guidance that is both relevant and immediately applicable, while maintaining flexibility within a structured support system.
