Assets-Based Pedagogies in Your Refugee-Serving Classroom, School and District
In this PowerUp, learners will analyze how assets-based approaches are currently supporting or could support refugee students more fully in their classroom, school and district. Learners will explore multiple tools to critically reflect on their curricula and their school and district policies for engaging, including and supporting students and families of refugee backgrounds.
A PowerUp is a concise, just-in-time learning module designed to address a specific topic or practical skill, typically lasting between 1-2 hours, and is offered individually or in bundles to support professional educators with immediate, actionable content.
