Assessment Processes in Early Intervention
This course focuses on analyzing and interpreting assessment data collaboratively with families and professionals. Learners will demonstrate proficiency using a strengths-based approach to inform eligibility determination, goal setting, intervention planning and progress monitoring. Learners will articulate the purposes of both formal and informal assessments, including ethical and legal considerations and discuss how to select and utilize developmentally, culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools and methods.

Learning outcomes
- Identify the purposes of formal and informal assessment.
