A core initiative of ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and Learning Enterprise at ASU, the ASU Professional Educator Learning Hub leverages the human and intellectual resources of ASU to support professional educators in K–12 schools and other learning environments.
Create accessible and personalized paths for people to specialize and advance in the education profession.
Provide educators more ways to develop and deepen content knowledge, pedagogical expertise and collaborative skills so they can deliver effective personalized learning to all students.
Inspire education leaders to mobilize teams and make decisions that promote successful learning and teaching environments that benefit both learners and educators.
Superintendents, principals, human resource leads and learning officers can partner with ASU to deliver purpose-built learning packages to their educators via a number of subscription models.
Individual educators can explore our catalog and chart their own course.
Ten clock hours is equivalent to 1 Continuing Education Unit. CEUs are often among the criteria used by employers and licensing bodies to determine promotion, salary increase and credential renewal for educators.
Micro-credentials are a way to validate that a competency has been mastered in a particular subject area or practice. ASU works with an increasing number of schools to formally recognize micro-credentials.
Educators who complete a credit-eligible specialization (facilitated and graded) can apply to ASU’s MA in Education program and receive academic credit. At present, only one eligible 9-credit specialization block can be brought into the ASU MA in Education.
We know that every school and school system is unique. That’s why our Professional Learning team develops learning packages that meet the needs of our partners. We are committed to learning from evidence, experience and our partners so that, together, we can make education systems work better for learners and educators.
